I think the only consoles that can go 100mil+ are ones that can get a stranglehold on the market early, and have a high failure rate. Oh, and terrible customer service that pretty much tells you "it's cheaper to buy a new one." It's already been done twice.
(as for hardcore: No More Heroes? that count?)
a friend of mine used to play socom on the ps2, this was his list.
45% nerds
45% rednecks
10% normal people
This was based on what they sounded like, not acted.
I can see why people love GTA, it gives people a fantasy world they can go to where they can just go around, doing what they want in a city, without any regard for human life. Something most people (including me) don't have the guts to do in real life. It's like going on a killing spree without having to pay for it in the end.
At least for me, thats why I loved GTA, I played GTA2 for hours at a time, just creating as much chaos as I possibly could. Other games came, I got into those too...
just say no to Blu-ray and spend your money elsewhere, try books for example.
I agree with that, the book is always better than the movie.
I know Gamecube games were backed up using a browser redirect with phantasy star online. psp hacking started with a browser redirect of wipeout (one of the launch titles) not sure of all the stuff they do now.
Wii had a browser redirect of shop channel, which was quickly patched. Not sure how they back up games now, i never really looked into it.
psp hacking apparently was just too easy.
Big deal, ps3/360 does 1080p.
My pc & monitor can do 1536p... it's like my monitor is constantly flipping off my HDTV.
so...... let's have these "next gen" games.
I liked the Phantasy Star series too, especially 4.
I also liked Shining Force 1 & 2. The very first tactical rpg's.
Contra Hard Corps, Streets of Rage series
Great times.
Everything on their controller already is copied from nintendo
snes pad + n64 analog + n64 rumble + gba tilt sensor = ps3 controller
dual analog & 4 shoulder buttons = sony's only idea's.. for shame.
Without nintendo, sony wouldn't even have a controller... sad
Just to show a so called "game reviewer" he sucks at his job.
I think the SNES version was the hardest in the series, I wonder what he'd review that as...
I work in retail, and I see scams like this all the time.
One close scam was a guy who bought a stack of CD-R's, swapped the blanks with old burns he was going to throw away, then return it.
Rockstar should make a game where the object is to rip the most games and upload them to the internet.
They already have one where you run around shooting people, stealing cars, doing illegal errands for mob bosses, etc.
Shining Force 3 Premium disc - Saturn
To get this, you needed to buy all 3 scenerio's then send in your upc's or something to sega for the disc. (only in japan)
Unfortunately, i don't have this. I dunno what the rarest game I have is, possibly Panzer Dragoon Saga (Saturn), or Lunar. (Sega CD)
Rarest thing in my collection though... my Sega Nomad
If they say their going to do something, they should do it.
I remember the original specs of the PS2, it was supposed to be so powerful that "it will last 2 generations, because the PS2 will be so powerful that thats when everyone else will catch up to it's power" and "PS2 will be as powerful as 40 Pentium 3's"
Really, I'm still waiting for that console, that would be awesome.
They said the PS3 would last 2 generations too, somehow, I doubt...
No room for improvement, this is the best sound and gameplay the ps3 & 360 are capable of. Thats what a 10/10 tells me.
360 graphics... just not HD.. so.. Near 360
Thats funny, really, it is.
I give sony credit for 2 analog sticks instead of 1, and 2 extra shoulder buttons. But seriously, everything else in that controllers design is a knock-off.
actually, i've seen 2 psp emulators, one called pspe or something like that released years ago, then was abandoned. Another called potemkin came out a year or so ago, then, i'm guessing was abandoned.
DS emulators run great only on 2D games, make it do 3D and it slows down.
Also, game piracy is illegal, so you have to get the thing anyway :p
Mario's Time Machine
ughhhhhhhh.....
On the day PS was released?
If you're talking about the PS-X, I don't believe you, there's no analog sticks on that one, (they were added later after N64 introduced it) what can you still play with it... maybe a few fighters that use a D-Pad.
If you mean PSOne (the smaller model), I believe it. My review, (#13) I mention my PSOne controller that still works fine. God I wish they would use that mold again for controllers.
For using it on the PS2, lemme guess, the PS2 control...
Back up data to an SD card. Something gets erased, you lose stuff, but at least not everything.
